Why This Role MattersYou’ll play a critical role in keeping our production lines running safely and efficiently. From diagnosing issues to making repairs and improvements, you’ll help minimize downtime and support the team in delivering quality products to our customers.
What You’ll DoTroubleshooting & Repair- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on assembly and injection molding equipment
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and automated systems using laptop-based software
- Disassemble, repair, and rebuild machinery and components as needed
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Inspect and maintain critical components (motors, sensors, relays, valves, etc.)
- Support startup/shutdown of production lines and respond to breakdowns quickly
- Identify root causes and implement long-term corrective actions
- Support robotic systems using teach pendants and controllers
- Install and repair motors, wiring, transformers, and control systems
- Assist with equipment installs, upgrades, and new job launches
- Perform welding, fabrication, and general maintenance work as needed
- Partner with operators, engineering, and leadership to solve problems quickly
- Document repairs and improvement actions clearly
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Follow all safety and quality standards and stop work when something doesn’t look right
Associate’s degree in maintenance (or related field) or 7 years of hands-on experience
Skilled Trades Journeyman (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Hands-on experience with assembly and injection molding equipment required
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and automated equipment
Ability to read pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
Experience with injection molding equipment (preferred)
Comfortable using computers/laptops for diagnostics and programming
A proactive, team-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills

This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment. You’ll be on your feet, working with equipment, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. The environment can be loud and fast-paced but also rewarding for someone who enjoys solving real problems.
