What You'll Do
User Support
- Provide timely technical support to employees through in-person, phone, email, and remote assistance.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
- Set up new user accounts, equipment, and system access.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating technical information in a clear and professional manner.
- Support users in ERP (Epicor), including user administration, label printing, and troubleshooting.
- Support manufacturing with MES and shop-floor workstations including EZ Label.
Systems & Infrastructure Support
- Assist with the administration and support of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and related technologies.
- Support network connectivity, shared resources, and business-critical systems.
- Assist with server administration, system monitoring, backups, software updates, and patch management.
- Help maintain IT asset inventory and technology documentation.
- Follow cybersecurity policies and assist with protecting company systems through secure user administration, endpoint protection, software updates, and security awareness.
Business & Manufacturing Technology Support
- Assist the Finance team with vendor management, including approving and coding vendor invoices.
- Assist with the annual IT budget process, including technology needs and vendor costs.
- Support copiers/MFDs and order supplies.
- Implement new customer connections and maintain existing customer integrations.
- Configure and troubleshoot label printers, barcode scanners, and label machines.
- Support EDI transactions, including maintaining 830, 856, and 862 transactions.
- Provide remote IT support to offsite facilities including China and Mexico.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in hardware refreshes, software deployments, and infrastructure projects.
- Document technical procedures, standards, and knowledge base articles.
- Identify opportunities to improve technology, processes, and end-user experience.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve technical issues and support business objectives.
- Provide after-hours support as needed.
What You Bring
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
