What are the responsibilities and job description for the Woodworker position at Grand Rapids Chair Company?
- FIRST SHIFT - Hours vary each week but typically are Monday-Friday 5AM-2:30/3:30PM. Must be willing to work occasional mandatory OVERTIME on Saturdays as needed.
- Paid Weekly - starting pay is $19-$21/hour depending on experience a pay increase after 90 days!
- Able to listen to your own music while at work!
- 2 weeks of paid time off 10 paid holidays paid sick leave
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operates any one of the machines used in wood working, such as routers, sanders, lathes, and table saws in order to manufacture various types wood table tops.
- Completes each order accurately and on time.
- Maintains performs basic preventative maintenance on wood working equipment.
- Keeps work area neat and clean according to company standards.
- Works safely and follows all company rules and procedures.
- Flexibility to provide back up to other positions during peak production times required.
