TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Service Employees Association, Class C3A
12-month position, 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday day shift (some overtime as needed)
POSITION OVERRIEW:
This technical position provides foundational experience in K-12 educational technology support. The Educational Technology Technician maintains and supports instructional and administrative technology infrastructure, provides technical assistance to district staff and students, and contributes to the integration of technology into teaching and learning. This position offers pathways for professional growth into specialized technical, network engineering, systems administration, and instructional technology roles.

Salary range: $22.80-$26.23 per hour
Grand Rapids Area Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package. The district offers contributions toward medical insurance including a health savings account. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education required
Associate degree (minimum 2-year degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Educational Technology, or related field.
Experience required
One year of experience in a technical support role, IT helpdesk, or computer repair environment. Internship or practical experience in educational technology may be considered.
