Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed during food preparation and service
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to enhance our offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt, friendly service in a lively setting
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients, assembling pizzas, and managing cooking times
- Follow proper knife skills and cooking techniques to ensure consistent quality in every dish
Skills
- Prior experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly advantageous
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and meal preparation processes
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency with various kitchen tools and equipment
- Experience with fine dining or high-volume food service environments is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
