Description
Assist in keeping all Community Center areas in a clean and orderly condition by performing housekeeping and other custodial duties as required. Assists the administrative staff in monitoring conduct and use of facilities and any other job related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).Cleans floors and applies floor drier, cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, locker rooms and other work areas.
Education
High school diploma or general education degree; or one to four months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
General knowledge of building cleaning. Ability to work independently and/or with others, when needed. Must maintain confidentiality. Must clear background investigation for minimum standards of Character & Suitability for employment under the Indian Child Protection & Family Violence Prevention Act of 1990, Pub 101-630.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
