This role serves as a developing technical resource within the Systems Team, assisting senior team members with projects, maintenance activities, system administration tasks, and escalated support requests.
The Junior Systems Administrator is responsible for resolving day-to-day systems-related service requests, assisting with infrastructure projects, maintaining documentation, supporting Microsoft cloud technologies, and ensuring reliable technology services across a multi-site healthcare environment.
This position provides an opportunity for technical growth through hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Windows Server administration, automation, security controls, and enterprise infrastructure management.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in technical support, desktop support, help desk, or junior administration roles.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience working in a team-oriented IT environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Systems Administration
- Manage user accounts, group memberships, and access requests within Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments.
- Support Microsoft 365 administration, including user provisioning, licensing, and mailbox management.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks following established procedures.
- Assist with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system health and report issues to senior team members.
- Maintain and update technical documentation.
Microsoft Cloud Administration
