What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adventure Club Head Caregiver @ Hayes position at Grand Ledge School District?
POSITION: Adventure Club Lead Caregiver Position
Monday through Friday 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
DESCRIPTION: The head caregiver will be directly responsible to the Adventure Club Coordinator. The head caregiver will supervise the children and participate in site activities, plan and coordinate activities that fit the needs and interests of children. All other duties assigned by the Adventure Club Coordinator.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Lead Caregiver - Must have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours of credit at an accredited college or university and shall have completed not less than 12 semester hours in Child Development, Child Psychology, or Early Childhood Education.
- Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret written directions and have the ability and knowledge to assist students.
- Must have good work record, including excellent attendance and punctuality, dependable, flexible, and cooperative, professional appearance and positive attitude
- Must be able to relate well with children
