What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN (ER) - Two Day Scheduler Every Weekend position at Grand Lake Health System?
Hours of Job
- Two Day Scheduler-Scheduled to work EVERY weekend for 48 hours per pay and will earn 72 hours per pay.
- Hours: 11:00 AM-11:00 PM
Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
- Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
- Places the patient at the center of care practices.
- Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
- May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.
Requirements
- Ability to work every weekend and holiday rotation as required.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed RN.
Experience
- Previous experience in an Emergency or Intensive Care setting is required.
