What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at Grand Lake Health System?
Hours of Job
- Part Time, (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.)
- 48 hours per pay
- Every 3rd Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
- Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
- Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
- May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.
Requirements
- Ability to work holidays and weekends as required.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed LPN.
Experience
- Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
