Hours of Job
Casual/PRN as needed (1st & 2nd shift)
6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Creates a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while pre-admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing, or escorting patients, family, or visitors, serving as entity resource.
Registers all visits as needed.
In addition, obtains necessary signatures, completes paperwork, and distributes correctly.
- Acts as role model and provides effective problem-solving or general assistance to all levels of Admitting Services.
Checks and rechecks all paperwork before it leaves the area for complete information and accuracy.
Requirements
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience
Previous Admitting/Registration experience is highly preferred.
Knowledge of medical insurance is preferred.
