Duties
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance and collect co-pays/payments
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR
- Help develop front-office workflows as we grow
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office or clinic environment with strong clerical and administrative skills
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR system, ModMed, is highly desirable
- Being tech-savvy with Apple systems is highly desirable
- Strong customer service orientation with exceptional phone communication
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations
- Prior healthcare experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA compliance standards
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
