Approx: 7:15 am to 2:45 pm
Salary:
$31.40 / hr per SRP Contract
Duties:
- Assists the school physician in physicals, visual/auditory screenings, and examinations of students.
- Administers first aid and emergency treatment to students and employees.
- Arranges to transport sick or injured students or staff to the hospital, home, doctor's office or dentist's office in cases of emergency.
- Reviews with school physician a variety of health factors related to non-attendance and communicable diseases.
- Prepares and maintains health records and reports as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License
Qualifications Desired:
- Strong organizational skills within a service-oriented health office
- Positive interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff
- Positive evaluations from prior supervisor
