Cafeteria Monitor (GIHS Breakfast)

Student Attendance Days - 7:00 am to 8:00 am

Salary:

$20.25/hr per SRP Contract

Duties:

• Monitor student behavior and ensure orderly conduct during breakfast to promote a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
• Address and redirect inappropriate behavior in a calm and respectful manner.
• Assist students as needed (e.g., finding seating, locating utensils).
• Ensure cleanliness of the cafeteria space
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with building administrators and food service staff.
• Supervise entrances/exits to ensure students remain in designated areas until the bell.
• Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate staff member immediately.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or four (4) years of experience in the care and supervision of children.
• Ability to maintain composure in a busy environment
• Commitment to reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications Desired:

• Prior experience working with adolescents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
