We are seeking an experienced, dependable, full-time Crating Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for traveling to customer facilities to safely package, crate, and prepare equipment for shipment. Each day may involve working at a different location, so flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential.
When onsite assignments are not scheduled, this position will assist with crate construction and packaging work in our woodshop. This position offers opportunities for advancement within the company for individuals who demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer facilities using company vehicles
- Build custom wood crates for industrial equipment onsite
- Package and secure machinery for safe transport
- Shrink wrap and protect equipment as needed
- Use hand and power tools to construct crates and packaging
- Assist with crate building and packaging work in the company woodshop when onsite work is not scheduled
- Follow safety procedures and company packaging standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas both onsite and in the shop
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Assist with loading, securing, and preparing shipments when required
Hours: 7AM-3:30PM / Monday-Friday
