Grand Hyatt at SFO is seeking a dependable and service-focused Housekeeping Houseperson to support the housekeeping operation in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming hotel environment. This role is essential to the overall guest experience, ensuring public areas, guest floors, linen rooms, and housekeeping support spaces are properly maintained and stocked. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of guest corridors, elevator landings, service areas, linen closets, stairwells, and other assigned public and back-of-house areas.
- Support Room Attendants by delivering linens, towels, guest supplies, amenities, cribs, rollaway beds, and other requested items.
- Remove soiled linen, trash, recycling, and used service items from guest floors and housekeeping areas promptly and safely.
- Restock housekeeping carts, linen closets, and storage rooms to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Respond quickly and courteously to guest requests and internal service calls.
- Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning assignments, and room moves as directed by housekeeping leadership.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Keep housekeeping offices, storage areas, and service spaces neat, clean, and organized.
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures related to cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and guest service.
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping, engineering, front office, and other hotel departments to support a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments efficiently.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Prior experience in a hotel or luxury hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and safety practices.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift moderate to heavy items regularly.
- Ability to move carts, supplies, linens, and equipment safely throughout the property.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced hotel setting.
