What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Grand Harbor Resort?
We are seeking an individual to work as a Dishwasher who ensure that wares for the restaurant are clean and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines.
Key Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Ability to work with little supervision and focused in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to push/pull/bend/lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs.
- frequently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age, or minimum age to work in a kitchen environment in accordance with state/local laws.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to maintain a composed, approachable and professional attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
- Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
- Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
- Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam.
- Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
- May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
- Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
