What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning Center Assistant position at Grand Forks Housing Authority?
Essential Functions:

Assist clients and test takers with helping to sign in/log in when entering the center,

Follow and support PSI proctoring program regulations,

Support the Panera Bread Program,
-
Open and close the Learning Centers at designated times,
-
Customer service skills and be courteous to anyone who enters the building, be friendly and helpful, keep the building neat and tidy, report any maintenance issues, make sure parents know they must supervise their children, answer the phone,
-
Basic computer knowledge and, more importantly, a willingness to assist users when appropriate is necessary.

Assist with special events or activities at the center,

Exhibit interpersonal skills with residents and coworkers;

Support confidentiality and be HIPPA compliant
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, or the ability to quickly attain through onsite training requirements:

Knowledge and/or skills required will generally be gained through training, both formal or informal, and/or related experience

High degree of interpersonal skill required to be able to communicate and provide unbiased support to residents

Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft, Gmail, Google systems)

Good verbal and written communication skills
Training/Education:
Equivalent to a high school degree or GED is required. A basic understanding of computers, having written and verbal communication skills
Salary : $27,200 - $34,400
