What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flexible Seasonal Garden Merchandiser position at Grand Flower Growers?
Do you enjoy being outside? Are you interested in plants? We are looking for a few merchandisers responsible for displaying, unloading and stocking of plants and flowers. This is a seasonal position with a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fun outdoor garden center environment with a great atmosphere.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Creating and maintaining plant displays
Unloading and condensing product from racks
Watering and general care of plants
Cull and recycle non saleable product
Customer Service
Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines
Additional tasks as directed by management
Requirements:
Prior merchandising experience in a retail setting preferred
Ability to work weekends
Ability to work as a team and independently with limited supervision
Dependable and punctual
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires bending, lifting, and standing
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Available Mother’s Day and Memorial Day weekends
Access to reliable transportation
Must be 18 and eligible to work in the US
Job Type: Part-time
