What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper (1 year preferred) position at Grand Cloudcroft Hotel?
Our housekeepers are responsible for providing a clean, well-maintained room for the enjoyment of our guests. Guest Enchantment promotes a positive image of our hotel and service standards. Our housekeepers make every effort to exceed guest expectations and reports all room issues immediately to Management or Maintenance for proper attention to details needed.
A housekeeper should possess the ability to effectively and efficiently clean guest rooms keeping up with the fast pace setting of the hospitality industry. Have basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, have and eye for detail to ensure cleanliness, complete special projects or deep cleaning projects as assigned.
Housekeepers will need to be able to provide exceptional customer service that exemplifies our "Mountain Memorable" hospitality.
Cleaning experience preferred, but willing to train detail-oriented person. Be able to work independently of direct supervision, clearly communicate with guests, other employees, and supervisors. Candidates preferred to have knowledge about our community and be able to share it in a positive manner. A willingness to be flexible and able to work hours to accommodate hotel. Basic knowledge of cleaning tools, chemicals and procedures for safety. Physically able to lift approximately 40 pounds with or without accomodations. Able to stand, bend, lift, and stretch as needed to achieve cleanliness standards.
