We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations according to scheduled routes.
- Load and unload products using manual handling techniques.
- Manage inventory by organizing, storing, and retrieving items within the warehouse.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages or equipment as required.
- Follow all safety protocols during driving and warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred, especially with route driving experience.
- Warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and warehouse work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules and safety standards.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.
