The Golf Course Greenkeeper is proficient at most basic course duties including but not limited to hand and machine raking of bunkers, mowing of greens, tees, fairways and roughs, operation of weed eaters, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers.

Grand Canyon University Golf Course is seeking a greenskeeper. What You Will Do
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift min 50 lbs
- Mow tees, fairways, and roughs with ride on equipment.
- Hand and machine raking of bunkers.
- Ensure that the equipment cooling system is working at all times, refills fuel daily, clean equipment after each use, and report any equipment problems or failures to the Equipment Manager immediately.
- Provide basic preventative maintenance on equipment as directed by the Equipment Manager or supervisor and return the equipment to its designated location at the maintenance facility.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Knowledge of safe, efficient mechanical operation of motorized equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Performs all duties to Grand Canyon University Golf Course Maintenance standards.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with mechanical operation of motorized equipment.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
