Qualifications
Minimum Educational Requirements:
- 60 hours from a regionally accredited college or university
- Teaching certification OR Michigan Substitute Teacher Permit
- Implement effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to organize and administer class lesson plans.
- Exemplify professionalism to students and staff.
- Establish effective relationships with students, staff, and community.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Knowledgeable of the growth and maturation patterns of the middle school student.
- Ability to speak and write effectively.
- Clearance of a criminal records check as required by the Board of Directors’ policy.
