Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping our property safe, functional, and welcoming for guests. This role involves hands-on work, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining our facilities, equipment, and outdoor areas year-round. We provide hands-on training to help you learn our property and grow your maintenance skills.
Duties
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems regularly to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Maintain heating, plumbing, and electrical systems, performing repairs as needed.
- Complete general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, landscaping, and beach upkeep.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain pool and spa utilities, ensuring proper chemical levels and safety compliance.
- Assist with moving and setting up equipment or furniture as needed for projects or guest needs (up to 50 lbs).
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, ensuring high satisfaction and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with all departments to maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning property.
- Uphold hotel safety standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
Skills
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
