POSITION:  Travel Center Cashier I    

DEPARTMENT:  Travel Center

REPORTS TO: Travel Center Manager

COMPENSATION: Non-exempt; Hourly; $14/hr 

1. SUMMARY:

• The main function of the Little America Travel Center Cashier is to process transactions related to the sale of fuel and retail products, stocking shelves and coolers.

1. TASKS:

• Operate a cash register and credit card machine.
• Reset Fuel dispensing systems and monitor all vehicles at pump islands.
• Help to maintain the cleanliness and neat appearance of the travel center which includes the Pumps, C-Store, Fridges, Coffee Station, Food Station, Bathrooms, and Restrooms; Request additional janitorial and maintenance help as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Good communication skills.

1. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand for a long period of time.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
