What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal - Winter 25/26 position at Grand America Hotels & Resorts?
SUMMARY:
Seasonal full time. As an On-Call Snow Plow Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator you will operate heavy equipment for snow removal at Snowbasin Resort. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
- Keep roadways clear of ice and snow
Keep all parking lots clear of ice and snow - Perform any reasonable tasks as requested by management
- Maintain awareness of equipment, signs and surroundings to avoid damaging property.
- Must comply with all safety procedures within Mountain Operations.
- Must follow all safety procedures and practices in order to protect and assure personal safety and the safety of co-workers, guests, other equipment operators, the equipment and facilities.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Early mornings required, typically 3am-10am (sometimes longer & earlier shifts).
- Could also include afternoon shifts depending on snow conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to work in any weather condition for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 75lbs
• Must be able to shovel snow for extended periods of time
