Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on Nissan vehicles, including powertrain, transmission, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Lead complex repairs such as diesel engine overhaul, heavy equipment maintenance, and automotive welding tasks with precision.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance services like oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and brake repairs.
- Mentor junior technicians by sharing expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, and auto estimating procedures.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and safety regulations while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and vehicle status.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience as a Master Technician or equivalent role with extensive knowledge of Nissan vehicles or similar brands.
- Certification as a Nissan Certified Master Technician or equivalent master-level certification in automotive repair.
- Strong background in automotive diagnostics using advanced scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Expertise in ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, powertrain systems, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with schematics, mechanical repair techniques, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy-duty repair machinery.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems along with experience working on GM vehicles or heavy equipment is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
