Responsibilities – Service Advisor / Writer:
- Greet customers and serve as their primary point of contact throughout the service process
- Listen to vehicle concerns, document repair needs, and translate customer issues into clear repair orders for technicians
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition
- Communicate repair timelines, updates, and costs to customers with transparency
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and timely completion of work
- Review final invoices, explain services performed, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized service drive and uphold dealership standards
- Support Express Service operations as needed (Granbury Nissan is an Express Service Certified Dealer)
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar automotive role preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy service department
- Basic automotive knowledge and comfort discussing repairs
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
