Floral Designer

Overview

Join our team as a Floral Designer where your creativity and passion for floral arrangements will shine. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating stunning floral displays, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal of our store.

Responsibilities

• Design and create unique floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and special events
• Assist customers in selecting the perfect floral pieces to meet their needs and preferences
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral department
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking flowers and supplies
• Utilize retail sales skills to promote and sell floral products
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of floral arrangements
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new design techniques into your work
  
  

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in a floral or garden setting
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and create appealing displays
• Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care requirements
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online sales is a plus
• Basic understanding of retail math for pricing and inventory management
• Experience with cash register operations and handling transactions
