Kennel Technician– Join Our Animal Care Team!

Do you love working with animals and don’t mind getting your hands dirty? We're looking for a dependable and compassionate Kennel Technician to help care for our furry guests and keep our facility running smoothly!

About Us:
At Granbury Animal Clinic, we provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for pets while their owners are away or while they receive veterinary care. Our kennel staff plays a vital role in ensuring each pet’s stay is safe, healthy, and stress-free.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed, water, and monitor animals daily
• Clean kennels, cages, and facility areas (including laundry and dishes)
• Walk dogs and provide exercise and enrichment
• Observe animal behavior and report health or behavioral concerns
• Assist with bathing and basic grooming
• Maintain accurate records of feedings and care
• Help with restraint and handling during exams or treatments (as needed)

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with animals is a plus (kennel, shelter, daycare, farm, etc.)
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for long periods
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
