Recovery Specialist at Granada House - Part-Time

Recovery Specialist:

The Granada House is seeking to hire a part-time Recovery Specialist. The Granada House - is a state licensed men's substance use disorder residential recovery home for located in Allston, Massachusetts. This position is for Monday 3pm-11pm and Sunday 3pm-11pm with the possibility of an additional 3-11pm on Saturday.

The duties and expectations for the Recovery Specialist position include, but are not limited to:

Answering phones and taking messages

Hourly rounds of the program’s main floor, and 2 residential floors to complete safety checks

Maintaining office log of shift events

Keeping on call administrator aware of any emergency situations

Tending to the needs of the 22 residents of the program

Ensure rule compliance by residents

Light office tasks assigned by administration

The Granada House is willing to provide necessary training for an appropriate candidate.

Crisis intervention/de-escalation when appropriate

Required:

Proof of US residency and/or proof of legal status to work in the US

Preferred:

Background/familiarity with substance use disorder treatment and/or the disease of addiction

CPR certified

Narcan trained

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
