Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Manage POS systems Square POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while maintaining cash handling accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
- Restock bar supplies promptly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to keep the bar fully stocked during busy hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak times such as banquets, catering events, or nightclub nights.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially within dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Square POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
- Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing, mixing cocktails, and serving beer or wine.
