What You'll Do:
- Represent clients in workers' compensation cases across various stages of litigation
- Conduct legal research and offer strategic legal advice
- Draft legal documents including pleadings and motions
- Handle depositions, hearings, and court appearances
- Negotiate settlements effectively and ethically
- Maintain organized case files and adhere to internal protocols
- Build and nurture client relationships through proactive communication
What We're Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active member of the California State Bar (required)
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in complex legal matters
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Comfortable using legal tech platforms and tools
- Minimum of 2 years WC defense experience
- Prior experience in workers' compensation law is strongly preferred
