Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in various manufacturing facilities. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in the field.
Responsibilities
- Execute installation and commissioning of new installations, service tacks as well as upgrades on existing installations.
- Supervise- lead and control external contractors.
- Secure targeted and optimum execution of installation projects and service activities.
- Supervise and follow up on plans – act on behalf of the Gram Equipment Field Service Manager.
- Prepare weekly installation/ Service reports during and after completion of installation and service tasks.
- Conduct technical user training for costumers’ maintenance crew.
- Secure that customer feedback is reported to the Gram HQ.
- Support and work with the company’s Engineering/ Service department on development of new products.
- Support and work with the company’s Engineering and production and QA departments to secure the product quality.
- When needed – support back-office colleagues on technical questions/ cases.
- When needed – Participate in development of the company’s training programs.
- Assist construction department and other colleagues by all means of documentation. i.e. create instructions – service and user manuals, as well as material for educational purposes.
- Effectively communicate with costumers, sales teams and partners to ensure that costumers needs and demands are understood and met – provide feedback to Filed service management.
- Never violate safety regulations, both Gram Equipment and policy at customer’s site.
