Responsible for the overall product strategy and execution for the digital channels (websites) from conception to launch through collaborating with senior management within executive, brand, IT marketing, sales, and service teams and guiding the product management teams including product owners.
Lead and develop eCommerce strategy, sales capabilities, and support eCommerce applications across LATAM and Specialty Business; help accelerate double-digit growth of businesses. eCommerce Responsibility growth of 600M portfolio. Identify and implement digital initiatives that capture market share and increase customer satisfaction.
You will report to the Group VP.
- Understands and drive the strategic and tactical direction of LATAM and Specialty Business units
- Work closely with executive team members and department leaders, manage competitive industry analysis, and identify areas for differentiation
- In collaboration with IT, determines eCommerce project scope and provides guidance to identify business requirements. Directs customer and relevant in-house research, project goals and schedules.
- Build and execute on strategy working closely with IT on enhancement roadmaps, digital channel programs, and product planning programs • Must partner with the leaders of LATAM & Specialty businesses to develop, update and/or build comprehensive multi-year strategy plans and develop the annual operating plans.
- Manages material financial resources in the application of those resources, including alignment of Grainger corporate resources • Build product leadership strategies for the brand that support the brand vision. Keeps abreast of important consumer and industry trends that impact the business.
- Leads the development and execution of the strategy and annual operating plans of GMEX, Puerto Rico, Global Export, E&R, and Imperial.
- Establishes and maintains effective internal business partnerships & vendor relationships
- Works with leadership teams to develop and align KPIs for tracking key strategic priorities
- 10 years eCommerce Product Management leadership experience
- 7 years of IT systems business product management, development
- Proven success in scaling and leading eCommerce initiatives
- Ability to work as an effective leader at all levels and ability to develop working relationships
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Strong project management skills coupled with high attention to detail and superior multi-tasking abilities
- Exceptional communication skills, strong business judgment, and a high level of initiative & creativity
- Strong financial acumen
- Bachelor's degree in technical or related field (advanced degree in business management or technology a plus)
