Position Details:
The Corporate Responsibility Coordinator reports to the Senior Director of Diversity and Corporate Responsibility. As the Corporate Responsibility Coordinator you will operate independently to provide administrative, decision and project management support for Grainger's Diversity and Corporate Responsibility team. You will help build Grainger's brand as a top employer for diverse talent and grow Grainger's impact on the communities in which we live and serve.
You Will:
- Manage the leader's time through strategic calendar management and scheduling, including preparing any necessary documentation (e.g. agenda, presentations) for scheduled events and team meetings.
- Manage end-to-end process for all invoicing and payment needs across the DEI, ESG and Community Impact teams.
- Manage budget tracking for the DEI, ESG and Community Impact teams and support annual budget planning activities.
- Support community impact activities including managing the community affairs mailbox, managing grant processing, coordination of product donations, and support in managing engagement with Grainger’s civic, community and other non-profit partners.
- Manage Diversity and Corporate Responsibility SharePoint sites to ensure information is updated and accurate.
- Support administrative and logistical tasks before, during and following events including in-person, off-site and virtual volunteering, ESG Leadership Council meetings and BRG leader meetings.
You Have:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 5 plus years of relevant work experience
- Excellent project management, budget management and facilitation skills
- Ability to work with minimal guidance
- Customer service experience
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders including senior executives
- Experience in a environment that experiences frequent change
- Managed communication of essential information both in writing and verbally
- Capability of understanding the audience and ensuring content and method of communication is relevant
- Presence to represent senior executives in all business communications
- Proficiency using common desktop applications
