Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves building and assembling components as well as repairing existing components, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols throughout the fabrication process.
Duties
- Build and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
- Utilize welding techniques to join materials, ensuring structural integrity.
- Stick welding cast iron experience a plus!
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Experience with a plasma cutter/plasma table would be beneficial.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and maintain accurate notes.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Will need to complete a welding sample onsite.
