Role Description
Grain States Soya Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Manager to lead operations at our West Point, NE location. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing daily plant activities, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring the efficiency of manufacturing operations. The Plant Manager will manage staff, maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, monitor key performance indicators, and drive continuous process improvements to achieve productivity and operational goals.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Plant Management and Plant Operations
- Proficiency in Operations Management and Production Planning to ensure efficiency and optimize resource utilization
- Experience in Manufacturing Operations, including knowledge of safety, quality control, and process optimization
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in team supervision and development
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the agricultural or food production industry is a strong plus
