We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Coordinator to join our Finance & Accounting team at our Assumption, IL facility. The ideal candidate will The Credit Coordinator help support the day-to-day activities of the accounts receivable and credit function. This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and interested in building a foundation in accounting or finance.

Expected salary for this role will be $18 - $20 per hour, plus eligible for an annual bonus. This is dependent upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.

Your Impact
- Daily Cash Posting
- Manage discrepancies related to customer payments
- Obtain and manage sales tax certificates on our third-party portal
- Process customer credits related to returns, co-ops, tax etc.
- Field any inbound customer related inquiries
- Assist with compiling documentation during audits
- Cover the front desk welcome and receptionist duties, as needed
Your Experience and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, administrative support, or customer service preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Ability to learn ERP or accounting systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable with strong follow-through and professionalism
- Experience with invoicing, cash application, or payment posting
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/accounting systems
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to communicate professionally
