About the Role
GRAHAM Youth Services & Transition Consulting (GYSTC) is seeking a dedicated Youth Transition Consultant to provide Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) to high school students in alternative and non-traditional youth environments. In this role, you will help students explore careers, build essential workplace skills, and prepare for successful transitions into employment, training, or post-secondary education.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilizing GYSTC's dynamic career services and transition platform to deliver engaging lessons in Career/Job Exploration, Workplace Readiness, Self-Advocacy Instruction, Postsecondary Counseling, and Work-Based Learning.
- Facilitate interactive activities, simulations, and hands-on learning sessions.
- Build rapport with students in nontraditional or structured youth environments.
- Coordinate with counselors and community partners.
- Complete required documentation, assessments, and monthly reports.
Qualifications
- Experience working with youth in alternative, residential, or structured settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and youth engagement skills.
- Ability to complete assessments and prepare professional documentation.
- Must pass a background check.
