Position Overview:

As a Commercial Tire Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in our Commercial and Agriculture Tire division. This is accomplished both in and outside of our facility. You will build and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers, understand their tire needs, and provide solutions that enhance their business operations. This role requires a self-starter with a strong sales acumen and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Commercial Tire sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Agriculture Tire sector
  • Develop and maintain relationships with fleet operators, transportation companies, and other commercial clients.
  • Conduct needs assessments and provide tailored tire solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Negotiate sales agreements and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide expert advice on tire products, services, and maintenance to clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay informed and adapt sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the service and support teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of customer issues.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transaction details.
  • Complete training provided by key vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales in the Commercial and/or Agriculture Tire industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial tires, including product features and benefits.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clients.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with commercial fleets or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with tire service and maintenance procedures.
  • Experience with Maddenco point of sales system
