Graham Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to support cleared federal customers in delivering advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven insights for mission-critical systems. This role supports classified and unclassified environments and offers an initial part-time engagement with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on performance and funding.Location: Work from home, preferably from the DC area Key Responsibilities: Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and data science techniques to large, complex datasets in support of federal missions Design, develop, and deploy predictive and prescriptive analytics models Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and model validation Develop data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, transforming, and enriching structured and unstructured data Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to translate operational needs into analytics solutions Develop custom analytics and visualizations to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences Support model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management in production environments Ensure solutions comply with security, data governance, and compliance requirements Document methodologies, assumptions, and results to support repeatability and accreditationRequired Skills:Active Q or TS Clearance5 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or applied statisticsStrong proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn)Experience developing SQL queries and working with relational databasesExperience supporting IC or DoD customersExperience with big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop, EMR)Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, Plotly)Strong communication skills and ability to brief findings to cleared stakeholdersDesired Skills:Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or on-prem secure cloud environmentsFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with security and compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, RMF, FedRAMP)Compensation:At Graham Technologies, we believe in treating everyone with fairness and respect.
