Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to ensure precise and efficient machining operations. This role involves working with advanced software and machinery to produce high-quality components, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing processes. The CNC Programmer will play a vital role in translating engineering drawings into functional programs that drive our Dmg Mori mills using Mastercam 2027.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for Dmg Mori milling machines using Mastercam 2027 software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical instructions to create accurate machining programs.
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines to ensure proper operation and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor machining processes, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and precision.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs, modifications, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in CNC programming, particularly with Dmg Mori mills or similar equipment.
- Proficiency in Mastercam 2027 or comparable CAD/CAM software is essential.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Experience with setting up CNC machines and troubleshooting machining issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
