Provide professional customer service and act as the primary point of contact for customers, service technicians, and equipment manufacturers in a retail outdoor power equipment sales and service environment. The Service Advisor ensures customer equipment service needs are accurately communicated, documented, and executed while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive customer service requests and capture detailed service information in the company’s business system.

Communicate service recommendations, warranty options, repair costs, and timelines to customers.
*
Obtain and document authorizations for customer-approved and manufacturer-approved work, including warranty service.
*
Coordinate and relay information between technicians and customers to ensure accurate work execution.
*
Inform customers when equipment service is complete and collect payment at pickup or delivery.
*
Maintain clear and accurate records of all communications, approvals, and service transactions.
Required Skills:

Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with outdoor power equipment helpful.

Typing and basic computer proficiency.
