The Restorative Activity Aide will perform specialized restorative nursing and Activities for Daily Living (ADL) activities for residents, assess and document the resident’s response and assist the nursing staff as directed. Aide in creating an activity program, lead daily scheduled groups and one-on-ones. Supervision is direct, with specific task assignments received from the Director of Nursing (DON)/MDS Coordinator or designee.
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Prefer one-year clinical experience
- Current Nursing Assistant certification with the State of Illinois
- Successfully complete or be willing to obtain 36 hour Activity Course.
- BLS certification through AHA required.
