HME Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative I (CSR I) performs all aspects of customer service within the HME Retail Store in a pleasant manner. These duties include, but are not limited to: answering the telephone and greeting customers, providing education and pricing to customers, completing sales orders, obtaining accurate insurance information for billing purposes, and is able to identify when Advanced Beneficiary Notices are required. The CSR I is a fast paced position that requires the ability to multitask. The CSR I will work well with all sales and billing staff and report to the Customer Service Representative II and the Director of HME.
Position Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent with knowledge of medical terminology
2 Years previous work experience in a medical facility preferred
Computer experience with accurate typing skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
Demonstrates clear and articulate speaking voice
Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills
Personality and demeanor to deal with the public and assist ill, older, or distraught patient
