The Denials Management Specialist is accountable for carrying out and documenting the appeals process for denied claims at Graham Health System. The specialist also works to maintain third-party payer relationships, a role that consists of responding to inquiries, complaints, and other correspondence. Knowledge of state/federal laws that relate to contracts and to the appeal process is vital.
- Bachelors degree preferred with a focus in healthcare/business management/accounting preferred
- Associates degree with three or more years of patient financial services experiences preferred
- Minimum two years experience in healthcare billing, collection, payment processing, or denials management required
- Denials management experience preferred.
