About Graham Hart Home Builder

Graham Hart Home Builder is a family-owned production builder that has delivered more than 1,000 homes across the Fort Worth area since 1995. We build Distinctive homes with meticulous attention to detail, with a “No Loose Ends” process that delivers a recognizably superior product.

Position summary

The Construction Manager supervises all on-site construction within an assigned community — scheduling trades, inspecting all work for compliance with plans, specifications, and Graham Hart quality standards, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and delivering every home complete, on schedule, and at budget. Factors critical to success include time under construction, quality at every stage, budget variance, jobsite condition, and the homeowner’s experience.

Responsibilities

•  Supervise all on-site construction. Schedule, coordinate, and direct trades across multiple homes in all phases of construction.

•  Verify all job documents are accurate before vertical construction begins: plot plan, permit, field plans, engineering, and selections/color sheet.

•  Inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and codes. Verify each trade’s work is complete and correct before the next trade begins; cross-check layouts, foundations, and framing.

•  Order construction materials as required; verify deliveries for quantity and quality.

•  Manage time under construction, budget variances, and change orders. Verify work before approving trade payment.

•  Communicate with homebuyers throughout construction: weekly updates with photos, on-site meetings at foundation, frame, drywall, and final, and the homeowner orientation and walkthrough. The person building the home answers the buyer’s questions.

•  Maintain a clean, safe, secure jobsite in every phase — site condition reflects the product. Maintain OSHA and SWPPP compliance; correct issues same-day.

•  Support warranty service on completed homes according to company procedures.

Qualifications

•  3–5 years of residential construction experience, including scheduling, ordering, field supervision, and quality control across all phases of construction.

•  Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, construction plans, plats, and development plans.

•  Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively and professionally with trades and homeowners, verbally and in writing.

•  Working knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.

•  Proficient with scheduling software and MS Office applications.

•  High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.

•  Current, valid driver’s license and reliable truck.
