About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, motivated Field Service Technician to join our well-service team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, team-oriented individual with experience in plumbing, well pumps, PVC piping, fittings, and electrical wiring.
You will work directly with the owner and our support staff to provide quality service to customers, complete field work efficiently, and help ensure every job is properly documented and prepared. The standard work day is for 7:30am to 4pm.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the owner to complete field service and well-service projects.
- Diagnose and assist with well pumps, plumbing components, PVC piping, fittings, and related equipment.
- Perform and assist with electrical wiring and troubleshooting related to well and pump systems.
- Complete work orders accurately and turn them in to support staff on a daily basis.
- Assist office staff with preparing estimates for potential customers when needed.
- Help maintain and organize inventory of parts, tools, and supplies for upcoming jobs.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the field.
- Help address customer concerns and escalated service issues professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced service environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience with well pumps, plumbing parts, PVC, fittings, or similar equipment preferred.
- Electrical wiring experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand work orders and job requirements.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Plumbing license not required.
- CDL is a plus
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plush
