Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role located in Duncan, AZ. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and emergency maintenance on housing units and related facilities, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC checks, carpentry, and general building repairs. Responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, identifying issues, performing preventive maintenance, and completing work orders in a timely and safe manner. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment and systems, coordinating with vendors when needed, keeping accurate maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. The Maintenance Technician will interact respectfully with residents and staff, responding to maintenance requests and helping maintain a safe, well-functioning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to work independently on routine and urgent tasks.
- Ability to perform Industrial Maintenance, including working safely with building systems, tools, and materials.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting building and equipment issues and identifying effective, timely solutions.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, inspections, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems.
- Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to regulations.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-service mindset when working with residents and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications in maintenance or building trades are preferred.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as required by the role and to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
